SUM

SUM is partly made in contrast to DIM. While DIM is reflecting the spiritual, SUM is about the tangible. SUM is built on the idea that 1+1=3. That two parts meeting each other does create something additional in their co-existence. Together they make a third part. The work is a ten minute long duet and in the original there is a last part which is represented in a four minute long solo. The full work is divided in three parts, the first is the pure physicality of the moving body. The second is the awareness of the other person and a meeting in between those minds. The third part is reflecting the meeting of the two people in a common imagination. The solo was like a sum up of the elements that had been used during the duet but as an own entity of expression.
