Ömsa skinn- The video work is about being aware of what has been and remembering it through acknowledgement. There is no danger in getting nostalgic but after a while we will forget or choose to not have the memories anymore. Part by part we de-construct an identity that has been. Through new memories and environments we find new truths and sides about ourselves. Getting aware that we move in time. Nothing is tangible because nothing is evident. We sometimes have to tender our skins; because there is no possibility of standing in stillness for too long in a time that keeps on going. (2018)
